Behcet’s Disease – General Information

Behcet’s Disease or beh-CETS is also known as Behcet's syndrome and is considered a rare condition which can cause severe inflammation in blood vessels in the whole body. The inflammation of this type of disease can progress to big a variety of signs and symptoms that can appear unrelated. Behcet’s Disease in most of the cases affects men and women over 20 years but younger than 30 years, but cases in which children and older adults also developed the condition have rarely appeared. Behcet’s Disease – Treatment

There is no cure available for Behcet’s Disease and if your signs and symptoms of this type of disease are moderate, the doctor can prescribe medications to control mild flares in pain and inflammation.
