4.0 out of 5 stars BIG HELP IN HARD TIMES
   By (FL, United States)
  Customer since 3/2/2009 - (12 orders)
  Ordered from
  Ordered Tamiflu

I ordered from PharmacyEscrow.com initially because I'd placed an order for a friend and he received his medicated ointment without any problems. He said it was the same ointment he'd gotten when traveling in Australia. He couldn't get it here in the States so we tried PharmacyEscrow.com.
When money became tighter for me and I lost my insurance, I decided to try PharmacyEscrow.com for myself. Since I'd been using Prempro, a hormone therapy drug, I knew it wouldn't be a problem but I would need to see my doctor for a prescription; the visit would cost me at least $200. Then I would need to have the prescription filled--cheapest I could find for this non-generic drug was $63.50 for one month! I could buy in bulk but the savings were not that great and I'd still have the cost of the doctor visit.
I went to PharmacyEscrow.com website and was really happy to see that they carried Prempro. I had kept my last prescription container so I was able to check off which strength I would need. I also had an option as to where (what country) I was ordering from which showed a slight difference in price. I chose New Zealand.
I checked out the shipping costs which were high but and they have a program whereby you can pay, I think it was $99, and you can get shipping for life (four times a year, every year). That was a big deciding factor for me because I would obviously be ordering on a continuing basis if I thought the medication was good, and that would save additional money. Honestly I figured I would try it and pay for the lifetime shipping and if it all turned out to be unsatisfactory, at least I wasn't losing that much money. Sometimes you just have to take a chance.
It was easy to place the order and they asked me some medical questions, very simple. Since this was a medication I'd been taking, I'm sure that helped things along, but the best part was I didn't need a $200 office visit!
Now, dumb me, I ran into a problem when I went to pay with my credit card--I tried using a Mastercard and they don't take Mastercard. It was clear in their directions but I was in a hurry and also I was surprised that they didn't take that card. I ended up using Visa, but I do wish they would use Mastercard as well.
After the order was placed they had to verify the payment went through and that took some extra time. I can't remember exactly what I had to do--re-enter my card info I think, but within 24 hours that was straightened out.
I received all kinds of confirmations via e-mail and that made me feel better. I got a confirmation number for the order before it was shipped and then another one after it was shipped so I could trace the order. It seemed very thorough and they always stressed I could call them and repeatedly gave me the phone number.
Well some time went by and I decided to track the shipment. At that point I hadn't been given the second confirmation number so I called the phone number and the Customer Service man said the place from where I'd ordered was out of Prempro and they had to wait to get it from their supplier. I did get a little nervous at this point but it seemed on the up and up and just my bad luck. Some days later I got the second confirmation number and also how (what mail carrier) it was being sent. I waited and waited and then tracked it again--it was in Hong Kong. That made me feel better again--at least it was on its way. A couple more days passed and I checked again and this time it said it had left Hong Kong. This was a few days later and I felt I should have more info so I called the phone number again and the Customer Service person checked further and told me not to worry, that it should be at my house within just a few days. It had not been the whole 18 days they'd mentioned in their advertising, and he pointed that out to me. A couple days later the medication arrived! and they even included some Tamiflu for FREE! That was nice :)

3.0 out of 5 stars Quality Fine but Ordering Not So Fine
   By (FL, United States)
  Customer since 3/2/2009 - (12 orders)

  Ordered Prempro

Well this was my eighth order with Pharmacy Escrow and I made a stupid mistake which apparently wasn't able to be corrected in time. But in retrospect, my mistake could have easily been avoided if certain information was shown more clearly. When I first started my ordering from Pharmacy Escrow, I took advantage of their free lifetime shipping policy. This is an excellent benefit, in my opinion. The way it works is that you pay once for Lifetime Free Shipping, and that's that. However, you can only have your products shipped FREE four times a year. The pills I take, hormone pills, are taken daily all year. Normally that would mean ordering three refills four times in order to take advantage of the free shipping. Sometimes, though, life closes in on you and, despite their terrific service of reminding you it's time to reorder, you forget. Also, it may not be financially feasible at the time, for whatever reason. The later was my problem when it came time to place my final order for 2010. I had planned a wonderful vacation to Greece and the Greek Isles with a dear friend. We were leaving the end of October, returning early November. Between paying for the trip and putting away enough money for travel extras, and dealing with all the other things we mortals have to contend with on a daily basis, I realized I was about out of my hormones. I had but a couple weeks in which to order AND PAY FOR three months of medications. While the drug prices at Pharmacy Escrow are far less than what I would be forced to pay here in the States, it was an unplanned expense for me at that time. Not good. I figured I could save money by writing a review, which I promptly did. I was awarded a credit of $40--YEA! a big help!! Then I realized I could save even more if I placed a repeat order, so naturally I went for that option. Now, to fill you in on my past experiences with Pharmacy Escrow--I'd discovered long ago that, on my particular drug order, I would get it faster if I ordered it from Australia instead of New Zealand. Sure, it did cost a little more but it came in half the time, at the least. Seemed like New Zealand was always "out" and would have to wait for their supply to be replenished. Who knows....bottom line I didn't want to wait and was OK with paying the slight difference. Unfortunately I did not know the difference between the Australian flag and the New Zealand flag. WHAT, you ask. Yep--instead of the drug order denoting the country from which you ordered in WORDS, it showed the FLAGS. Go figure.... I chose (you got it) NEW ZEALAND. Uh-oh! I didn't even realize it at the time I placed the order. I had no idea of the error, my error??, until I received an e-mail informing me of the (of course) delay in shipment of my hormone pills. I nearly died! I got in touch with Pharmacy Escrow immediately--I think I called them....I was so panicked I don't even remember. Too late for me--order was already processed. I had enough pills to last me through the trip if I stopped taking them right away and went without until the trip. Anyone who knows what it's like to be a woman without her hormone pills knows it's HELL for the woman and those around her. I figured my family and friends could take it, my mood swings and "killer" issues, more in stride than total strangers I would be encountering on my vacation. The pills were delivered a day or two before I got home. Why it took THAT LONG, I don't know, but you can bet I won't be making the same mistake again. This time I googled the two flags and now I know Australia's flag has a big white star in the lower left hand quadrant and the little stars on New Zealand's flag are red, not white. This will also be helpful during the Olympics, hey you got to think positively, especially since I've now BEEN to the land of the ORIGINAL OLYMPICS :)
All in all, the Pharmacy Escrow company has been a good place for me to secure my medications, but I would caution you to go slowly and take your time placing your orders.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally--everything went smoothly!
   By (FL, United States)
  Customer since 3/2/2009 - (12 orders)
  Ordered from
  Ordered Prempro

I have been ordering from Pharmacy Escrow for quite some time. It all started when my employer wanted me to find some special cream he'd bought in Australia. He couldn't get it in the states--they simply didn't carry it here. I researched and found this site and placed an order. It was pretty easy and, since it was a one-time order, he paid the postage which was actually more than the drugs. In the back of my mind I was thinking I would check out the cost of the hormone pills that I use and see if it would be beneficial for me to order from here. I used my employer as a "test case" to see if everything was legitimate, especially with the finances. When all worked well and he received the medicated cream without a hitch, and no repercussions with the credit card, then I felt I would give it a try.
I remembered the high cost of shipping and was very happy to see I could sign up for a free-for-life shipping for a flat fee, of which I took advantage. You do have to be careful with this as you can only ship "free" four times a year. This means you have to watch the amounts you're ordering if it's a drug you take monthly.
I was also very happy to find I could write a review of my ordering experience and be credited accordingly. It doesn't matter if my review is good or bad...another plus!
Well my experience with this particular order is quite satisfying. I had forgotten the night before that I wanted to order my hormone pills and I didn't want to go without them so I placed the order before going to work. In the past this process has often taken me a lot of time for various reasons, but this time it ran smoothly. When you sign into your account, they have an option by which you can place a duplicate order from one placed at an earlier time. Perfect! I clicked on that option; chose the previous order that I wanted to duplicate and voila! The screen went to the check-out mode and I put in the necessary information and that was that. I will caution you that they don't take MasterCard. I think that might change in the future.
After I placed the order I was concerned as to how long it would take to get to me and it arrived very quickly this time, I think in about a week and a half. No problems. It comes directly to my mailbox.
Another thing I like is the e-mail tracking of the order--very helpful and reassuring. They have excellent follow-up with e-mails so you know when it is to arrive. They also have e-mails to remind you to order again AND an e-mail to remind you that you can write a review.
As to product quality, I have not ever been disappointed with Pharmacy Escrow. The packaging is slightly different from the USA but the drugs, in this case the hormone pills, are the same. I take these pills to control hot flashes so I know if the pills are "real" or not. As previously stated, no problems!
All in all, this order went well from start to finish.

5.0 out of 5 stars Product Quality GREAT but difficulty in placing order
   By (FL, United States)
  Customer since 3/2/2009 - (12 orders)
  Ordered from
  Ordered Prempro

This was my second order with the online pharmacy. I was already to place the order for the Prempro and had my credit card by the computer. I go to place the order and am told that if I double the order I'll receive a free ten-day supply of TAMIFLU. Well this was great for me as I have no medical insurance and really can't afford doctor visits and hospital care. Pharmacyescrow.com had sent me free Tamiflu with my first order--I hadn't even asked for it so I was thrilled. I figured ten more tablets would be great to have as a back-up. I attempted to re-do my order and that's where the trouble began. I couldn't go backwards or start all over--it was as if they wanted only to double the large amount that I was originally ordering and, even though the prices are really low from this company, I wasn't prepared to double the large order I was originally placing. I must have started over at least two more times and it kept reverting to the original order amount. Finally I called the customer service folks and they tried to clear it but then it didn't say anything about the free Tamiflu. I ended up waiting til the next day to place the order. Finally it went through for the new amount I was ordering for which I requested a double order and for which I was to receive the free Tamiflu.
I have to say I never got the Tamiflu. I also never called to complain as I've had some sad circumstances in these ensuing months, so I just never got around to it. Bottom line is I did receive the order which I'd doubled, but no Tamiflu--why, I haven't a clue.
I am pleased to report that the Prempro is fine. The drug I receive is under the name of Premia, but it's the same thing as the Prempro. The quality seems fine--I know this because I am not experiencing any of the symptoms I have when I don't take the drug, i.e., hot flashes and night sweats.
I will say I have two basic gripes re ordering from this company--one is the difficulty and time involved in placing online orders; secondly, the length of time it takes to get the order.
As to the difficulty in ordering online, I would rank my computer skills at about "medium"--far from a beginner but perhaps not advanced. However, I find navigating this site to have its drawbacks such as not being able to go to the previous screen to make changes. I find the time it takes to place and complete an order to be fairly long.
With regard to the time frame from placing the order through delivery, I'm now used to it taking several weeks, so I act accordingly. The drug I order comes from a pharmacy in New Zealand and is then routed through the Orient and eventually across country to my home on the east coast of America.
One thing I do feel is a terrific help, both financially and from a "venting" standpoint, is the opportunity to write a review of the received order/s for a credit to my account. They don't discourage you from being truthful--but encourage honesty in the hopes they will learn how to improve their service. All companies should be so minded! As you can see, I haven't held back my actual experiences nor have I not mentioned the plus side of ordering through this company. I did receive a credit of $40 on my last order--the one I doubled--and that, along with the reduced pricing for ordering more than one month at a time, has been a big help. I do not hesitate to tell my friends and family about my experiences ordering from PharmacyEscrow.com and recommend them highly. As long as you don't wait til the last minute to place an order and just take your time online, you truly can't go wrong.
I will be placing my third order in a few days and, by the way, I took advantage of their lifetime shipping deal so I won't have to pay postage. Oh, one more thing,I have found that the online customer service people are helpful and try their best. I haven't had any problems communicating with them.
Right now my personal rating of PharmacyEscrow.com (formerly Pharmacyescrow.com )is about a seven and a half, maybe an eight.
