Axid is a drug also generically known under the name of Nizatidine. Axid is a medicine that belongs to a wide class of medicines known as histamine receptor antagonists. Axid Missed Dose

Axid Side Effects
Taking Axid can lead to some dangerous side effects such as:
Allergic reactions to the drug or to some of its ingredients such as throat closing, difficulty in breathing, hives, swelling of the lips, face or tongue
Abnormal bleeding and bruises
Yellowing eyes or skin
Fever
Irregular heartbeat
Sore throat

Axid can also trigger some other more common but less serious side effects like:
Headache
Dizziness
Diarrhea
Constipation
Nausea

There are other side effects that can and that do occur because of a treatment with Axid. You should inform your physician at once if you are experiencing anything disturbing or abnormal while taking this drug.
