Lopresor Information

One of the active ingredients of Lopresor is metoprolol tartrate.

Lopresor Indications

Lopresor Warnings

Patients should not take Lopresor if they have allergy to any of its ingredients or to any beta-blockers; have had difficulty breathing or other severe lung problems, asthma, or wheezing; have had allergic problems as well as hay fever; very slow heartbeat; low blood pressure; severe blood vessel disorder; phaeochromocytoma; and other heart conditions.

Talk to your doctor first before taking Lopresor if you have allergy to other medicines, foods, dyes or preservatives or to bee or wasp stings; diabetes; overactive thyroid gland; kidney problems; liver problems; or certain types of angina.

Lopresor may cause harm to an unborn baby. Talk to your doctor first before taking Lopresor if you are pregnant or could become pregnant during the treatment.

Lopresor is known to pass in breast milk. Talk to your doctor first before taking Lopresor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

Lopresor Intake Guidelines

Take Lopresor exactly as directed by your doctor. In case you did not understand the instructions, ask your doctor nurse, or pharmacist to explain them to you. You may take Lopresor with or without food. It is advisable to swallow the tablets completely together with a full glass of water.

Lopresor Dosage

You may obtain the dose of Lopresor from your doctor. Follow the exact dose your doctor prescribe for you. The dose will vary from person to person.

Lopresor Overdose

If you suspect an overdose with Lopresor, call the National Poisons Centre, go to the Accident and Emergency Department, or look for emergency medical attention. Some of the signs of overdose with Lopresor are feeling sick and vomiting, very low blood pressure, bluish skin and nails, slow heartbeat, fainting, difficulty in breathing, convulsions or coma.

Lopresor Missed Dose

In case you miss a dose of Lopresor, take the missed dose as soon as you recall. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose as directed by your doctor. Avoid taking a double dose of Lopresor.

Lopresor Side Effects

Some of the side effects of Lopresor are confusion or memory loss; difficulty in sleeping, nightmares; dry or irritated eyes, blurred vision; tiredness, drowsiness, decreased alertness; headache or other pains; diarrhea or constipation; dry mouth; increased sweating; and dizziness, spinning sensation, light-headedness or fainting. You may also experience stomach upset, nausea or vomiting; ringing in the ears, difficulty in hearing; depression or other mood changes; runny nose; weight gain; and hair thinning. Talk to your doctor immediately if you experience any of the said side effects.

Some other side effects are allergic reaction; shortness of breath; chest tightness, wheezing, rattly breathing; swelling of the feet or legs that resulted from fluid buildup chest pain; unusual bleeding or bruising; jaundice; changes in heart rate; regular "flu-like" symptoms; skin reactions; coldness, burning, numbness or pain in arms and legs; symptoms of sunburn; and hallucinations. Look for emergency medical attention or contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the said side effects.

Other side effects not mentioned here may also occur. Talk to your doctor if you experience any unusual or bothersome side effects.

Lopresor Drug Reactions

Some of the drugs that could affect Lopresor are other beta-blocker, high blood pressure medicines; irregular heart beat medicines, diabetes medicines, quanethidine, certain local and general anaesthetics used during surgery, monoamine-oxidase inhibitor medicines, warfarin, Indomethacin, cimetidine, antidepressants, antipsychotics, antiretrovirals, antihistamines, antimalarials, and antifungals. This was my second experience ordering drugs on line, my first with you. I was not sure if I would receive them or not, since they were coming from overseas and it was illegal. I took the chance and ordered. The price was right, a huge savings for us, but it took almost 6 weeks to get here. I had to go to the post office to pick them up and was very apprehensive. The packing was terrible, it was partially open when I received the package and was poorly packaged. I must say you have improved dramatically since then but was unsure about ordering the next time from your company, due to time and packaging. The reason I decided to reorder I found you to be the most competitive and least inexpensive and figured next time I knew it would take about 6 weeks and it did. I will continue to order from you as long as you have the best pricing.

I got so fed up with my doctor only giving me 2 months for refills, I decided to try an internet pharmacy.

After much research, I settled decided to give PharmacyEscrow.com a shot. I wasn't disappointed.

The blood pressure meds I was taking was available and in the correct dosage. I filled out a brief medical history for their in house medical staff to review, and was approved the following day.

I reviewed my options and discovered that if I ordered 180, I'd get 20 pills free. That was a savings of $12/month if I had purchased the same amount using my health provider's prescription plan! I went for broke and ordered 4 (2 years worth of medication).

Shipping... that was the only thing I was hesitant about. It states 7 - 14 BUSINESS days once the order is shipped. Well, 14 business days is almost 3 weeks, which I thought was excessive. However, I received my order in less than two weeks. Another kudos to PharmacyEscrow.com! The only hitch is that they require a signature for delivery, so if you're not home, it's a problem. You have to sign in person as well, so signing the slip and leaving it the next day will not work. A hitch, but a minor one, considering all of the advantages.

My dad recently ordered from them as well, with a similar experience as mine.

I decided to order all of our prescriptions from you this time, at least enough for the two of us for 6 months. I had taken advantage of the one time shipping for the rest of our lives and thought that was a very good deal, as long as your prices were competitive. The time to process and receive the product had dramatically improved over the past two years I had been ordering from your company and your packaging had improved over prior orders. I feel your company offers us a chance to get the prescriptions we need and otherwise could not afford to buy here in the US. Once again it was a simple and easy process and saved us a lot of money. I have found no difference between the brands you offer and we get here except of course the cost. Thank you for offering such a great experience for people for who have no choice or would do without as we have no insurance.
