• early symptoms of a heart attack (heavy feeling, chest pain, pain that spreads to the shoulder or to the arm, sweating, nausea, general illness);
• a hemorrhage, brain injury, or tumor;
• severe anemia (a medical condition that is caused by a decreased number of red blood cells).

Before you start to follow a treatment with Nitrolingual you should alert your personal health care provider if you are allergic to any other foods, dyes, preservatives or other type of substances (this also includes other medicines) or if you are suffering from:

• congestive heart failure;
• liver disease;
• a history of stroke, heart attack, or head injury;
• glaucoma;
• low blood pressure;
• migraine headaches;

Patients who have any of the medical disorders that have been listed here might not be allowed to start taking Nitrolingual or they might have to be prescribed a lower dose of this medicine. Furthermore, their treatment with this drug should be closely monitored by an authorized health care provider.

Nitrolingual is a category C FDA pregnancy medicine. Therefore, a treatment with this drug during pregnancy could harm the growing fetus, causing severe birth defects. An overdose with this product could have lethal effects.

Nitrolingual Missed Dose

Since Nitrolingual is generally used only when it is needed, a missed dose of this product is unlikely to occur. However, if you are following a treatment with this medicine and you have missed one of your prescribed doses, you should ask your doctor for further instructions. Do not take double doses of Nitrolingual.

• bronchodilators;
• erectile dysfunction drugs;
• antidepressants;
• beta-blockers;
• calcium channel blockers;
• drugs that treat psychiatric disorders.
