Patanol Eyedrops is a pharmaceutical product based on Olopatadine (this substance is present in the solution in a concentration of 0.1%, 1 mg/ml). It belongs to the group of antihistamine drugs as well as to that of anti-allergic agents.

Patanol Eyedrops Indications

In most cases, Patanol Eyedrops is prescribed for the treatment of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis – an eye inflammation caused by pollen and other airborne allergens that cause the eyes to become red, watery and / or itchy. As part of a combined therapy, along with other medication, this pharmaceutical preparation may be used for the treatment of other ocular affections as well. Patanol Eyedrops Warnings

You should not employ the use of Patanol Eyedrops if you are allergic to this product, to Olopatadine or to any of its other ingredients. Using this product right before taking a bath or a shower or before going swimming may decrease the effectiveness of the medicine. Do not administer the drops to children of less than 3 years of age. Do not apply this solution while you are wearing contact lenses – it is best that you remove the lenses and only put them back on 10 minutes after you have applied the medicine. Patanol Eyedrops Intake Guidelines
