Reminyl is generally taken in twice per day (if possible after the morning and evening meals). Store this medicine in a place that is away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight. Avoid letting the medicine to freeze. Ask your pharmacist how to properly dispose of your unused medicine.

Reminyl Dosage

We strongly advise you to ask your personal health care specialist to give you the proper dose of Reminyl that you should take in on a regular basis. Do not deviate from the dose that you have been prescribed. This dose can vary from one patient to another, as it depends on a variety of factors such as age, sex, severity of the disorder, etc.

Most adults are initially prescribed 8 milligrams of Reminyl, which should be divided in 2 doses (one in the morning and one in the evening). After a month, their dose is generally doubled. After another month of intake, the dose increases to 24 milligrams. However, patients who are suffering from kidney or liver disorders should not use more than16 milligrams of Reminyl per day.

Reminyl Drug Reactions

Reminyl is known to sometimes harmfully interact with other medicines available in pharmacies. This is why you should avoid using any of these medicines during your treatment with Reminyl: Artane, Cogentin or other medicines that treat Parknson’s disease, Tagamet (Cimetidine), Ketoconazole (Nizoral), Paroxetine (Paxil), Erythromycin, Voltaren or other NSAIDs, Meclizine (Antivert), urinary tract medicines, etc. Ask your personal physician for more information.
