Netromycin is an antibiotic class drug that inhibits protein synthesis in several types of susceptible bacteria. It is a strong antibiotic and it may only be employed in the case of severe bacterial infections. Netromycin Indications

Netromycin Warnings

Netromycin Intake Guidelines

These may range from mild to severe, and may include hearing disorders, unsteadiness, clumsiness, dizziness, urination frequency and volume changes, thirst increase, appetite loss, nausea, vomiting, tingling, burning or numbness in various parts of the body, uncontrolled twitching of the muscles, seizures, ringing of the ears. Among the most severe adverse reactions that may appear while following a Netromycin therapy, allergic reactions are characterized by swelling of the face, neck, lips or tongue, breathing difficulties caused by a closed throat, fever and skin affections such as rashes and hives. Netromycin Drug Reactions

Netromycin may interact with other aminoglycoside medication with a cumulative effect. This drug may not be used in combination with anti-infectives, Capreomycin, Chloroquine, Carmustine, Cisplatin, Cyclosporin, analgesic combinations of Acetaminophen and Aspirin or other salicylates, Deferoxamine, Hydroxychloroquine, gold salts, inflammation medicine or analgesics (with the exception of narcotic medication), Lithium, Penicillamine, Methotrexate, Quinine, Plicamycin, Tiopronin or Streptozocin. You should inform your prescriber of any other medication you are taking before starting a therapy course with Netromycin.
