Pyridium Information

Pyridium is a medicine which is also commonly referred to as Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride. This drug is an analgesic designed to relieve pain in the urinary tract, and it is only available under the form of tablets, for oral administration. The main ingredient, Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride, is present in each tablet in quantities of 100 mg or 200 mg, depending on the tablet strength. Apart from the main ingredient, each Pyridium tablet also contains silicon dioxide, corn starch, lactose hydrous, hydrogenated vegetable oil, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, gelatin, sugar, titanium oxide, FD&C red #40 and blue#2 aluminum lake, sodium benzoate, povidone, white wax and carnauba wax.

Pyridium Indications
