Dipentum is an anti-inflammatory medicine that works on the intestine. It is used in the treatment of Ulcerative Colitis.

Dipentum Warnings

The doctor should be informed of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding. Dipentum should not be taken in case of severe allergic reaction to aspirin or any medicine containing aspirin. A severe reaction includes a severe rash, hives, breathing difficulties, or dizziness. In case of pregnancy, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. It is not known whether Dipentum is excreted in breast milk.

Dipentum side effects

The common side effects of Dipentum that may go away during treatment, include abdominal pain, cramps, or nausea. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. If diarrhea, rash, or itching is experienced contact your doctor.

If Dipentum overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Dipentum Usage guidelines

Dipentum should be taken with food and it should be stored at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. In case of a missed dose it should be taken as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once. Dipentum should be kept out of the reach of children.
