Modecate Information

Modecate is a phenothiazine drug mainly used to treat serious mental and emotional disorders. It has also been proven to have great results in the treatment of psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, as well as many other severe mental disorders.

Modecate Indications

Apart from its use in treating severe mental and emotional disorders such as schizophrenia, Modecate can also be used to control various symptoms and effects in patients, from agitation or severe nausea vomiting and hiccupping to mild to severe pain in hospitalized patients. Certain types of Porphyria can be treated with Modecate as well, and in combination with other medicines it can be used in the treatment of tetanus. Modecate Warnings

• Kidney disease
• Reye's syndrome

Make sure that your personal health care specialist is fully aware of your entire medical history, as there may be other past or current affections that can affect your Modecate treatment. Some conditions may prevent you from starting a treatment with this drug, while others may require special monitoring of the patient or an altered dosage. Typically, some of the mentioned conditions' symptoms will become worse while under Modecate treatment, while others may develop complications ranging from mild to severe, sometimes resulting in expansion of the diseases or development of new affections.

Modecate Intake Guidelines

Modecate Side Effects

There are some side effects associated with Modecate treatment. Some of them are: muscle spasms of the face, neck and back, tic-like or twitching movements, twisting of the body, inability to move the eyes, weakness of the arms or legs, constipation, difficult urinating, dryness of the mouth, confusion, memory troubles, dizziness, drowsiness, fainting, trembling of the hands or fingers, problems with muscle movements.
