Mildison Lipocream Information

Mildison Lipocream contains 1-% hydrocortisone in cream base, which contains a high percentage of oils and fats. Mildison Lipocream belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroid. Mildison Lipocream is used on the skin to relieve the redness, swelling itching and discomfort of skin inflammation.

Mildison Lipocream Indications

Mildison Lipocream is indicated for the treatment of eczema and other types of dermatitis.

Your doctor may prescribe Mildison Lipocream for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.

Mildison Lipocream Warnings

Before taking Mildison Lipocream, tell your doctor if you have other skin problems other than eczema and dermatitis.

Do not use Mildison Lipocream for prolonged on the following area of skin folds such as:

• under the arm
• front of elbows
• back of knees
• groin area
• anal or genital areas

Do not use Mildison Lipocream if you experience skin lesion caused by the following factors:

• viral infection
• parasitic infection
• fungal infection
• bacterial infection

Do not use Mildison Lipocream if you have skin ulcers or skin wounds.

Do not apply Mildison Lipocream in these areas unless otherwise your doctor tells you to do so.

Do not take Mildison Lipocream if you are allergic to its active ingredient or any of its inactive ingredients.

Do not take Mildison Lipocream if you are pregnant or if you think you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. Tell your doctor immediately if you become pregnant while using Mildison Lipocream. Discuss with your doctor about Mildison Lipocream and how it might affect pregnancy.

It is not known whether Mildison Lipocream passes into the breast milk or not. Mildison Lipocream is not recommended for use if you are breast-feeding an infant.

The safety of Mildison Lipocream in children has not been established.

Mildison Lipocream Intake Guidelines

Try taking each dose of Mildison Lipocream at the same time each day for best and most effective results.

Do not take more of Mildison Lipocream and do not take Mildison Lipocream than your doctor ordered.

Taking Mildison Lipocream just before having a bath, shower or going swimming may reduce the effectiveness of Mildison Cream.

Do not use Mildison Lipocream under dressings or on large areas of skin unless your doctor tells you.

Do not use Mildison Lipocream in or near the eyes.

Do not use Mildison Lipocream to treat any other complaints unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you to.

Do not use large amounts of Mildison Lipocream for a prolonged treatment. Chances or risks of having side effects may be increased if a large amount of Mildison Lipocream is prolonged in use.

Mildison Lipocream Dosage

Take Mildison Lipocream exactly as prescribed by you doctor or as directed in the package. If you have any problems understanding it, ask your doctor about it. Your doctor will tell you how many tablets you need to take each day.

Apply a small amount of Mildison Lipocream to the affected skin once or twice daily or as directed by your doctor. Use enough to cover the affected area when rubbed in.

Mildison Lipocream Overdose

If you suspect an overdose of Mildison Lipocream, immediately call the Poison Control Center or go to the nearest accident and emergency at your nearest hospital. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Mildison Lipocream Missed Dose

Take the missed dose of Mildison Lipocream as soon as you remember. However, it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose of Mildison Lipocream to avoid unwanted adverse side effects.

Mildison Lipocream Side Effects

Along with the needed effects, Mildison Lipocream also have unwanted adverse effects. Tell your doctor if side effects occur.

Tell your doctor if you notice any of the following mild adverse effects of Mildison Lipocream:

• Burning
• Itching or irritation of the skin at the applied site
• Thinning
• Discoloration or loss of pigment
• Reddening or rash
• flare-up of the original skin problem

Tell your doctor if you experience any of the following serious side effects of Mildison Lipocream:

• delay of wound healing
• increased eye pressure
• cataract
• increased body hair
• change in body weight, fat distribution or general health

This may be very serious adverse side effects and are very rare. You may need urgent medical attention.

The risk of such side effects is highest when:

• the treated area is covered with a dressing or in a skin fold
• Mildison Lipocream is applied on large surfaces
• long-term treatment occurs
• application occurs in children
• the presence of components which increase penetration through the skin or increase the effect of Mildison Lipocream

Side effects other than those listed in this medication guide may also occur. Talk to your doctor if side effects that seem unusual or especially bothersome occur.

Mildison Lipocream Drug Reactions

Do not take other medicines unless they have been discussed with your doctor. Talk to your doctor before using any medicines or any over-the-counter medicines. Mildison Lipocream and some medicines may interfere with each other.
