Myocrisin is a pharmaceutical product based on the active ingredient Sodium Aurothiomalate, a substance that helps relieve the inflammation which may occur in the case of patients affected by arthritis. Myocrisin Indications

Myocrisin Warnings

If you accidentally miss a dose, you should contact your doctor and reschedule the injection as soon as possible. If you have missed two or more Myocrisin doses you should contact your supervising health care professional as the therapy course may need to be reconsidered.

Myocrisin Side Effects

Most medicines cause a number of unwanted side effects in a small number of cases. These side effects may be mild to severe, however as long as you use Myocrisin exactly as you have been directed the risk of developing such unwanted effects is greatly reduced.

One of the most severe possible adverse reactions that may appear during your therapy with this drug is an allergic reaction. Hypersensitivity reactions are usually manifested through such signs and symptoms as breathing difficulties caused by a closed throat; rashes, hives or itching; swelling of the face, lips or tongue. If you experience any of these or other symptoms indicating an allergy to this medicine or to any of its ingredients you should immediately discontinue your Myocrisin therapy and contact your personal physician.

Other side effects that may appear during your treatment with this product include (but are not limited to) skin problems such as rashes or irritations, metallic taste sensation, blurred vision or other visual disturbances, jaundice, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and / or diarrhea. Myocrisin Drug Reactions

Myocrisin may interact with several other pharmaceutical products, including Aspirin, Penicillamine-based preparations, drugs containing Oxyphen-Butazone or Phenylbutazone, ACE inhibitor class medication.
