Narium Information

Narium is a medicine used to decongest the nasal sinuses and relieve several symptoms such as nasal membrane inflammation, dryness or irritability. This pharmaceutical product contains the active ingredient Sodium Chloride and is available to purchase without a prescription.

Narium Intake Guidelines

If you are using Narium under the form of nasal drops, you are advised to tilt your head backwards before applying the drops, then apply one drop of the medicine in each nostril. This may also be performed as often as needed. However, you are advised to not exceed a reasonable number of Narium applications per day – you will not obtain any improvement of the therapy results but you will be more susceptible to developing side effects. If your physician advises you to otherwise apply this medicine, it is best that you follow his or her advice as he / she is more familiar with your general health condition.

Narium Dosage

Your health care provider may recommend you an exact number of daily Narium applications, as well as an exact number of sprays / drops to use with each application. This largely depends on your current health state and tolerance to the medicine. Typically, one or two sprays or drops applied to each nostril per application are enough to effectively treat the symptoms of your affection.

Narium Overdose

Applying the Narium doses less often than usual is not expected to have any negative impact on your therapy. However, if your prescriber recommended you a certain number of daily applications and you have forgotten to use your medicine as directed, simply apply the missed dose when you remember about it and continue with your normal therapeutic schedule.

Narium Side Effects

Studies have shown that several side effects can occur while following a treatment with Narium, although their rate of occurrence is low. The most severe of these are represented by allergic reactions in patients that are hypersensitive to this medicine or to any of its ingredients or in patients with an unknown hypersensitivity to any of the component substances. If you begin experiencing any of the characteristic symptoms of an allergic reaction, such as hives, rashes, swelling of the throat, tongue or lips or breathing problems caused by closed throat you are strongly advised to cease taking this medicine and contact your health care professional.

Other side effects that may appear during your Narium therapy include nasal irritation or breathing problems; other adverse reactions that are not listed here may appear as well. If you are using Narium and experience any bothersome symptoms, you should contact your physician and inform him or her of the situation.

Narium Drug Reactions

Narium may interact with a number of prescription and over the counter drugs, especially other pharmaceutical products that are applied nasally.
