Augmentin Information

Augmentin belongs to a class of drugs called penicillins. It, being an antibiotic, helps in fighting bacteria in the body. Augmentin has a generic name of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium.

• White patches in the mouth (thrush or yeast infection)
• Vaginal yeast infection or diaper rash

Augmentin Drug Interactions

Inform your doctor if you are presently taking any if these medicaments:

• Allopurinol (Zyloprim)
• Probenecid (Benemid)
• Antibiotic (for the same or for a different reaction)
