If you experience any signs of toxic effect (especially metallic taste in mouth, indigestion, sore mouth, rash, itching, bloody / severe diarrhea, nosebleed, easy bleeding / bruising) alert your PD at once. In extremely rare clinical cases, direct / prolonged exposure to sunlight has lead to the developing of an unpleasant symptom in patients who were being treated with Ridaura: certain skin areas had turned to an uncommon blue-gray color. For this reason, patients who are following a therapy course with this medication should employ an effective sunscreen protection.

Before you start a new therapy course with this product you should alert your medical product if you have ever had any type of allergic reaction to a gold-based medication or compound, if you have any type of blood medical conditions (including a medical history of bone marrow problems), liver / kidney disorders, lung disease, rash, inflammatory bowel disorder, heart condition, and so on. Such patients may not be allowed to start a therapy course with Ridaura or at least they will be administered lower doses of this product.

Studies have shown that this medication is a category C product. In other words, scientists are not very sure if the use of Ridaura can affect the normal developing of a growing fetus. You should thoroughly discuss this aspect of your treatment course with your main medical prescriber or with your gynecologist. The same advice is valid for breast-feeding females who are being treated with Ridaura or with any similar medical product.

Ridaura Intake Guidelines

It is very important to employ all of your doses of Ridaura according to your provider’s recommendation. If you are not able to understand your prescriber’s directions concerning your normal therapy course with this medication you should not hesitate in seeking additional help / explanations. You can ease your intake of this product if you take your dose with Ridaura along with liquid (water / juice / milk). You should know that the first beneficial results of your treatment course may appear after 2 months of intensive therapy. You will experience these beneficial results to their full extent after 6 whole months of regular treatment with Ridaura. You are not allowed to stop / pause your treatment course with this medication without having your prescriber’s approval.
